Adding Some New Shots To Flickr

I still have hundreds of photos to go through and process from the World Junior Championships this winter.  I am slowly getting them sorted, edited and uploaded to various places.  My favorites are Flickr and Wikipedia.  I don’t do this as a career or anything like that, so this is pretty much as good as [...]

Is there really a curse?

No, not anything quite so mundane as the Sports Illustrated cover curse, nor even the EA Sports cover curse.  The most important question is this – is Marian Hossa cursed?
By all accounts, Hossa is a pretty nice fellow.  Sure, he took out Bryan Berard’s eye, but that was a legitimate accident.  And he’s also become [...]

Stanley Cup Fever Hits….Tampa?

The Tampa Bay Rays are heading out on a road trip to Canada.  And everyone knows – late spring in Canada means one thing – Stanley Cup Playoffs!

The odds-on favourites have to be the Windsor Spitfires, who are the defending champions, and are returning several of the core members [...]

Steven Stamkos TTM Success

Carey Price sent back a long-lost TTM success last week, this week brought Steven Stamkos.  I sent this custom card out at the beginning of the 2008-09 season, and it got back to me this week.  Nice looking signature, and this is a big one off my list of draft picks from 2008.

Caption This Contest: Closing Sunday

I have probably let this drag on a little bit logner than I should, but just to let you know, I will be choosing a winner for this contest Sunday, May 16/10 at noon.  If you want to get your entry in, check out the contest page here.

2010 NHL Draft Prospects Erik Gudbranson

Erik Gudbranson of the Kingston Frontenacs (OHL) is likely to be a top-10 pick in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft.  He’s a stud defenseman, and whatever team picks him is going to not only get one helluva player, but a kid whose been through a lot, and come through it with a different perspective on [...]

Carey Price TTM Success

I have no idea when I sent this one out.  It was probably two years ago.  Anyways, whatever the reason, I am glad Carey Price has finally gotten around to signing his mail.
I wish I had done a better job prepping the card, though.
