Brian Burke’s son Brendan was a student manager for the University of Miami (Ohio) Men’s Hockey team prior to his untimely death in a car accident earlier this year.  The Miami team has been honouring him with a patch on their jerseys during games, but I hadn’t seen their practice jerseys until earlier today.

The crest on these jerseys is a larger version of what they wear on their jerseys during games.
