Bob Probert (1965 – 2010)
Former NHL enforcer and noted tough guy Bob Probert died suddenly yesterday afternoon while out boating with his family. No official cause of death has been announced of yet, but from the description of the events, speculation seems to be centered around a heart attack.

Newest Leafs: Kris Versteeg and Bill Sweatt
Twitter just blew up with this, and with the help of my handy, dandy little TSN text messages, I didn’t miss the news. The Leafs picked up Kris Versteeg and Bill Sweatt from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Victor Stalberg, Chris DiDomenico and Phillippe Paradis.
I am pretty happy about this deal as a Leafs [...]

ITG’s O Canada set was a great boon to my Sostorics [...]

Sidney Crosby is the captain of the defending Stanley Cup Champions. He is one of (if not the) biggest name in hockey today. He is almost certainly the biggest name in the hockey hobby. Alexander Ovechkin has the outsized personality, and the mind-boggling stats, but Crosby consistently outperforms him on cardboard.
With that in mind, Crosby’s [...]
